Since day one at Alarm Will Sound, our work has been about innovation and experimentation. At every opportunity since then, we have challenged ourselves and the conventions of our field to be more expansive, daring, and dynamic.

Like ensembles the world over, Alarm Will Sound is profoundly challenged by the effects of COVID-19. A string of cancelled engagements and the reality that we may not be able to play in the same room together for a long time are challenging the very notion of what our ensemble is. But we see this as a creative opportunity. Harnessing our core value of experimentation, we are discovering new kinds of music-making and music-sharing.
