Alarm Will Sound launches the 10th season of the Ecstatic Music Festival at Merkin Hall with music a performance featuring "The Hunger" by Donnacha Dennehy and music by eccentric musician Alexandra Drewchin (aka Eartheater).

In cooperation with Oxfam America, a global organization working to end the injustice of poverty, Alarm Will Sound presents The Hunger, a modern cantata by Donnacha Dennehy. All net proceeds from the performance will be donated to Oxfam.
St. Louis, MO
Alarm Will Sound debuts at the 560 Music Center with a world premiere of music by MacArthur grant recipient Tyshawn Sorey, a new arrangement of music by Aphex Twin, and a piece by José Martinez from the Mizzou International Composers Festival.
